in an effort to fufill my teenage tumblr-era theme-dreams, i'm learning to code by growing a place for ideas, creations, notes,,, anything.

i started this in november 2024 as a complete beginner to the world of coding/web development. i'm still very much a beginner but i've learned SO MUCH and i've done it all for free (besides buying the domain name for $8) so i've listed out the tools and programs used to create this website below!

  • inkscape to create/edit icons/svg's/vector graphics (a 100% free alternative to adobe illustrator)
  • gimp to create/edit graphics/raster imgs (a 100% free alternative to adobe photoshop)

developing/hosting

  • vs code to develop and update things here
  • github/github pages to get all of this on the internet
  • bought the domain name through cloudflare
  • browser developer tools and im being so serious!!!!
