Not necessarily formal, but things I feel could potentially pass on actual local news shows in terms of subject material
Mostly videos / material that might be helpful to a "beginner" or someone watching a WNBA (or basketball game) for the first time
Using scans to organize it in my mind as videos based on explaining things relating to "common assumptions" (or definitive facts) of basketball/the WNBA
Material is specific to one specific subject within the same time period (relatively)... Like recapping games over a week, a special event, giving facts about one specific player or team... Recent developments... Updates....
Slightly "deeper" than one item within a reference set (like a definition of "layup" or "rebound") but is surface level assessments/looks at things...(not opinionated // complex // etc......)
the starting point for this project... easy and quick things I know I can put together and feel most confident in !!
the first episode(s)
The first "set" of videos I want to make
It's helpful for me to call it the prologue because it seems more "official" to me but also clearly in the beginning stages...(or phase)
Lots of background/general info !!!
guiding questions for the "prologue"
What's different about this season in particular? (expansion and CBA agreement)
How many games are there this season?
How many teams are there this season?
What are the special events that will happen this season? Which, if any, are new?
last year comparisons (catching up)
general league comparisons (landmark events, general things to know, league history type things)
Comparing against last season (like who won comissioner's cup last season, what player won what awards, etc.)
Comparing against league's history (like CBA agreement stuff and things relating to expansion, etc.)
